Laborers’ Rising Event

Local 158 and Kulpmont 100 participated in a Laborers’ Rising event at the Ronald McDonald House of Danville. We had a check ceremony and donated blankets to every room in the house. On behalf of Local 158 we would like to thank our Pennsylvania Laborers’ District Council business manager Phillip Ameris and local 1058 for their generous donations.

Laborers' Rising with The Lehigh Valley Labor Council

Local 158 and Local 1174 took part in a Laborers’ Rising event with the Lehigh Valley Labor Council. The event was a toy drive for Roosevelt Elementary where we helped load up toys and set them out for families. We want to thank Greg potter and Jim Irwin for letting us take part in this event!

Partaking In Local
Community Event

On April 5th Laborers’ Local 158, Pennsylvania District Council Training Fund, Walsh Construction, LSI Specialties and Kulpmont 100 teamed up and poured a 40×80 concrete slab parking lot at a three-county community dog park in Kulpmont. This was a voluntary community event in which 20 plus Local 158 members were able to pour the slab to get their ACI Concrete Flatwork certification. We are looking forward to continuing participating in community outreach events like this!
